This is why I absolutely hate fandoms in general. Wars like this bring out horrible trolls. Vi vs. Emacs. Windows vs Mac. Star Wars vs...itself. (I'm a huge, lifelong Star Wars fan...but I stay away from its fandom).

As a recent Mac convert, I don't consider myself much of a Windows fan anymore. Yet I still have two Windows laptops I fire up now and then for specific purposes. The laptop provided by employer is a Windows machine. I can't avoid it, and I'm not really complaining. I can live in both worlds.

I still contend that desktop operating systems like Windows and MacOS will not translate well to touch-screen devices. I've owned a Surface and a Dell 2-in-1, and have no desire to live in both worlds on the same machine.
