My family held membership in the Museum of Flight in Seattle and had a members-only view of the Concorde's landing there in November 2003 to join the museum's collection. The plane landed without incident, of course, after setting a New York-to-Seattle speed record, but once on the ground, maneuvering the plane off the apron was delayed because the coupling between the tug and the front landing gear broke -- the aircraft was heavier than expected!
