I use my laptop almost exclusively as a laptop — in the year I’ve had it, I’ve used it on a desk or table only once or twice. I fear my situation might put undue strain on the Thunderbolt port if I left it plugged in all the time, so as much as possible I plug the computer in only when not using it.

Frankly, I’m spoiled by the superior battery life.
