I hardly ever use the Start menu on my work laptop. All my most important apps are on the Task Bar, just like the Mac dock, and were there even before I re- entered the Mac world. I use the Windows key to initiate Search, just like I use Spotlight on the Mac. Just some food for future exploration!

The modifier keys, though, still get me. I’ve long preferred the Mac arrangement, and have been contemplating remapping the Windows control key to the Alt key position.
