I could not agree with you more. I’ve had my M1 MBA since the end of December 2020. It only has 8GB, and while I wish I’d bought 16, I have no reason to complain. The machine has served me well, and continues to do so. I haven’t seen anything to tempt me away from it. I’ll probably use it until Apple tells me it’s not upgradeable.
